The ST-7010 sensor adopts the strain electrical measurement principle with a resistance strain gauge as the conversion element. It consists of an elastic body, a resistance strain gauge, a measurement bridge, and a signal conditioning circuit. The strain gauge is adhered to the elastic body and forms a measurement bridge. When the elastic body is affected by torsional force and undergoes a slight deformation, the resistance value of the strain gauge adhered to the elastic body changes accordingly. Thus, the output of the measurement bridge changes with the magnitude of the torsional force applied to the elastic body, and this signal is processed by the signal conditioning circuit to output a standard signal.

 

The ST-7010 series torque sensor features high frequency response, strong anti-electromagnetic interference capability, reverse protection for input power supply, and short-circuit protection for output signal.
